The orthopedic surgeons at Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute (AOSMI) of Freehold, Monroe, and Wall townships have announced that they will be awarding two (2) $1000.00 scholarships, one to a male and one to a female senior attending a high school in the Freehold Regional School District.

Dr. Michael J. Greller, a board-certified and a fellowship-trained sports medicine orthopedic surgeon at Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute (AOSMI), Freehold and Monroe townships, NJ, performed the first “custom-fit knee” replacement surgery in the Northeast. AOSMI’s orthopedic surgeon Dr. Alan Nasar assisted Dr. Greller in the surgery and worked with the manufacturer to design this cutting-edge technology, which provides great advantages over traditional knee replacements.
